If you are the type of person that enjoys the fashion world and you like to design or modify your own clothes and accessories you may want to consider a career as a fashion designer. You don’t have to have designs that are seen on the runways of Milan and New York to make money as a fashion designer. You can make money from your own home by using the internet. I know of a teenager who makes a living on Cafe Press and eBay. He makes t-shirts and sells them on eBay for large profits.
Most fashion designers got there start doing just what you do, drawing designs on paper that eventually become real clothing. If you start out working from your home and you use the power of the internet you can make sure there is a market for your designs and even build a following. As your business grows you can even hire people to help you.

In the fashion world today there are many designers who sell their designs and products only on their websites so that they control everything and they keep all of the profits. This is a better way for fledgling designers to start out as well, you can always get a business space later on if you want to have an actual physical store.
